Reminiscence activities have many proven benefits for the older generations including helping to reduce symptoms of depression, improving communication skills and enhancing self-esteem.
Pamela West, 83, resident at Featherton House care home, said: “At Featherton, we fully understand the importance of stopping our face-to-face contact with visitors to help minimise the risk of us becoming poorly.

“I’m looking forward to having my favourite tipple with my friends at Featherton for our ‘only residents allowed’ party!”
Holly Rose, home manager at Featherton House care home, said: “Featherton is a big part of the community and we are grateful for the fantastic support we receive from the community.
