Banbury Lions Club makes donation to Katharine House Hospice during Covid-19 pandemic

The Banbury Lions Club has donated £750 to the Katharine House Hospice to help with funding during the coronavirus crisis.

The Banbury club received a share of a special £100,000 fund launched by the Lions Clubs Foundation of the British Isles to support local communities during the COVID-19 crisis.

Banbury Lions’ president Graham Raven said: “Our £750 share is a significant sum of money that we are putting to good use straightaway.

"The coronavirus pandemic is hurting local people in lots of different ways. We are dedicated and long-time supporters of Katharine House Hospice having raised thousands of pounds over many years.
