According to the Oxfordshire County Council's emergency school closure list, four schools near Bicester and one school near Chipping Norton are listed as partially closed due Covid-19 on the county's website.

The year six bubble in Brookside Primary, Bicester has closed following a positive test from today ( Monday June 28) and will reopen on Tuesday July 6.

The year six bubble will be self-isolating for 10 days from today (Monday June 28) at King's Meadow School, Bicester. The bubble will reopen on Wednesday July 7.

Year five (27 pupils) from Launton Church of England School, Bicester, are isolating at home from last Wednesday June 23, and will return on Friday July 2.

Year groups two and five St Edburg's CE (VA) Primary School, Bicester, are in isolation due to confirmed cases of Covid-19. They will return to school on Friday July 2.

The year five and six bubbles closed on Friday June 25 at Chadlington Church of England Primary School near Chipping Norton. Thirty students, plus one teacher and one teaching assistant will be in self-isolation until Monday July 5.

There are seven other schools across Oxfordshire for a total of 12 partially closed due to Covid-19.
