It comes as the school has extended their offer for boys, introducing them into the Upper School where previously they have only been a part of the Lower School.

Headmaster Edward Way said: “This is a really exciting development for the school. Many past and current parents have and continue to tell us that they wish their sons could stay at Carrdus all the way through the school and benefit from its outstanding education as well.

"Parent demographics are changing and many families are now seeking a prep school that can serve the needs of their daughters and sons.”

The foundation of school life, both in and out of the classroom, is based upon the Carrdus Pathway. The Carrdus Pathway is the school’s own, approach to the development children’s personal qualities.

The report, in part, reads: “Pupils are confident learners, relish challenge and ... demonstrate high levels of initiative and independence.”

Headmaster Way added: “We are really thrilled to becoming fully co-ed. Girls and boys of all ages will really benefit from all that Carrdus has to offer and the addition of older boys will bring a very positive and exciting new dynamic to the school.”
