Due to Covid, this will be the school’s first production since 2018 and follows the success of My Fair Lady.

Helen Furniss, head of drama, said: “It is lovely to see the children on the stage after such a long time and thoroughly enjoying learning their lines and dance numbers which are choreographed by Sharon Green, principal of the Sharon Green Academy of Theatre and Dance.

"Their enthusiasm has not been dampened by the long break; if anything they are keener than ever to perform."

The show - which takes place from July 13-15 at Blessed George Napier School (OX16 9DG) - starts at 7.30pm each evening. Tickets are priced £12 for adults (18+) and £6 for concessions (over 65s and under 18) and are available via https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/Blessed-George-Napier-School
