Banbury's much-loved Radio Horton seeks volunteers to join its team
Banbury’s Radio Horton has launched an appeal for new volunteers to join its team and help support patients at the Horton General Hospital and across the wider community.
Radio Horton is looking for more volunteers to join its team as it prepares for a busy period of community events over the summer.
The hospital radio station is appealing for anyone interested in volunteering, whether that be as a presenter or in a support role, to contact them.
Those interested in broadcasting will have the opportunity to host their own regular radio show once the necessary training has been completed.

The station is also looking for volunteer ward visitors, who will talk to patients and gather song requests to be played over the radio.
Volunteers are also needed to assist at community events throughout the year. These events play a vital role in raising the funds needed to keep the station broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The charity is also keen to hear from people with administration, technical or IT experience who would like to support the station behind the scenes.
Anyone with some spare time and who would like to support a local charity and make a difference in the community is encouraged to get in touch.
First started in 1964, Radio Horton has kept patients at the Horton General Hospital entertained for more than 60 years.
Over the years, the station has won several prestigious accolades for its community-focused shows and high-quality programming.
