And both have been given a five-star rating - the best rating available by Food Standards Agency.

Banbury Bowl, George Street, Banbury, was given a five-star rating on July 12 in the restaurant, cafe or canteen category.

Uprise Pizza co, Parsons Street, Banbury, was given a five-star hygiene rating on July 21 in the takeaway category.

Bicester Bowls Club at Bicester Bowls Club The Garth Launton Road, Bicester, was given a four-star rating on on May 26, in the pubs, bars and nightclubs category.

The Boat Inn in Thrupp was given a two-out-of-five food hygiene rating after an assessment on June 27.

It means that of the Cherwell district's 98 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 62 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
