"We delivered to Wardington House Care Home because we were overwhelmed with orders for VE day, and wanted to give back to a part of the community that need it during these times.

"We were welcomed into the garden where they had set up a table to place all the cakes and sandwiches for them to organise and set up for the 60 residents and staff later that day."

The Sulgrave village shop donated some fresh bread for Webster's Event Catering to use for the service.

Danny added: "We decided to choose this care home because we felt some residents may have been here during VE day celebrations 75 years ago. Also they look after dementia residents and my grandad sadly passed away last year to dementia so felt we had to support this care home and give to the hard working carers at this time also.

Webster's Event Catering initially started as a mobile bar business in October 2018. Since then the business has developed into private catering for cocktail parties, fine dining, and weddings.

Danny added: "We quickly adapted our business from weddings and events to offer a new service called 'Dine to Door' where we are offering various different themes brought to your door to enjoy in between afternoon teas with a touch of class."
