A spokesperson for The Range has confirmed the company will soon open a new store at the old Matalan site in Cherwell Street.
There is no projected opening date for the store yet.
The opening of the new store will create 80 new jobs, which will be split over a mix of full and part-time roles. The roles will include a variety of positions ranging to department managers and warehouse supervisors to retail assistants.
The store will be recruiting for its new staff members through the local job centre.
