A spokesperson for VanJordans Coffee House said: "We aren’t just another coffee shop, were trying to bring our products and experience to the more commercial side of Banbury where there is a huge footfall of people that until now haven’t really had many places to go without walking all the way into town.

"We will have a great atmosphere with light background music, local papers, board games, baby change and disabled facilities and some talented and knowledgeable staff who know their stuff! A real home from home vibe."

Chris White, chartered surveyor and MD of White Commercial Surveyors, who worked with VanJordans Coffee House to secure the move, said: “VanJordans is a welcome addition to Banbury’s retailing offer located in a very prominent position at Banbury Cross, close to hotels serving Banbury and tourists visiting the region as well as the local community.

"We are experiencing a number of successful and recent retail openings in the region – companies being attracted by an expanding residential and commercial sector.

This includes the current and major £60 million retailing development expanding the main Castle Quay Shopping Centre in Banbury known as the Waterfront.”
