McDonald's reopens 39 drive-thrus - but are any of them in Oxfordshire?

McDonald's fans in Oxfordshire must wait a little bit longer for Return of the Mac.

The global burger giant announced which 39 drive-thrus are opening across the UK and Ireland today (Wednesday May 20) but none are in Oxfordshire.

A statement from the company said: "These Drive Thru pilot restaurants were all chosen as they are close to one of our distribution centres as we continue to prepare our supply chain for reopening.

"Thank you for your continued patience as we slowly but safely reopen our restaurants."

McDonald's opened 15 pilot restaurants for delivery only and promised some drive-thrus would open today. But they kept mum about the locations until 10am — an hour before they were due to open.
