An inspirational mentor from Banbury has been shortlisted for top industry accolade.

Carole Henderson, a professional development partnership manager at Bright Horizons, has been named as a finalist in the 2022 Nursery World Awards for her outstanding contribution to early years.

She has mentored thousands of apprentices and employees since joining Bright Horizons over 20 years ago.

Carole said: “I absolutely love what I do, and I am very honoured to be recognised by Nursery World for my contribution.

"I believe that all apprentices have the potential to succeed and are capable of achieving their qualifications.

The Nursery World awards are open to everyone involved in early years education and childcare and help to shine a light on best practice and raise the profile of the sector.

Carole’s achievement has completed a hat-trick of shortlisting’s for Bright Horizons, as the company is also named as a finalist in the Health and Wellbeing Award and the Business Development Award.

The 2022 Nursery World Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday September 24 at The Brewery London.
