Happerley England set to leave Lock29 food venue at Banbury's Castle Quay Shopping Centre
Happerley England was heavily promoted across the area when Lock29 opened in late August as bringing England's newest food and drink initiative to the area. The Happerley England and Lock29 partnership was developed as the country’s first national centre for provenance.
Happerley England took to social media and posted a message on Facebook about its exit, which said: "It has been mutually agreed that Happerley England is ceasing its licence at Lock29 in the coming days.
"During this challenging time for us all, this decision will allow Lock29 to continue to operate and grow a cohesive mixed retail, community and entertainment offering in Banbury.
"It will enable Happerley to stay true to its core purpose to deliver and celebrate English food and drink provenance for all."
The Banbury Guardian is seeking more information about the split.
Even though Happerley England has left Castle Quay Lock29 still offers multiple food venues to the public.
