The company has dubbed the offer 'New-to-Roo' as it offers new customers across the country a sizeable saving.

Anyone who signs up to Deliveroo from today will get £10 off their first delivery when they spend a minimum of £15.

Customers just have to use the code WEGETFOOD.

The offer will be especially helpful to people who cannot get out for shopping due to isolation during lockdown. And it will also help struggling families who are feeling the financial pinch of the Covid crisis.

Deliveroo has on-demand grocery partnerships with supermarket giants such as Waitrose, Co-op, Aldi, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s, so the offer means Brits those new to the Deliveroo app can save £10 on grocery essentials and not just takeaways.

But the offer does also apply to all restaurants and takeaways on Deliveroo of which there are over 140,000 to choose from nationwide.

The offer has been announced to celebrate the launch of ‘Deliveroo Presents: The Year of Great Food (Food. We get it.)’, a new global brand campaign in line with the food delivery company’s commitment to delivering food to customers.
