Bakeaway is the new takeaway as Deliveroo get in on the GBBO buzz

Hide AdFrom today, a new “Bakeaway Bundle” is live with Co-op on Deliveroo allowing customers to mix-and-match up to 24 different baking ingredients from flour, eggs, sugar and butter to cake decorations and flavourings. The limited-edition bundle is available from all 416 Co-op stores live on Deliveroo across the UK.
It comes after the new series of hit TV show The Great British Bake Off launched this week with record viewing figures since the switch to Channel 4.
A spokesperson for Deliveroo said: “We know Brits are going to be readier than ever to bake their way through the coming season. This inspired us to launch “Bakeaway” with our partner Co-op and with it an expanded range of baking essentials available on the app, so you can whip up that Victoria Sponge when you get the craving that simply can’t wait until tomorrow.”

Perfect for whether you get the knead to make your own showstopper or prefer a delicious quick treat to wash down with a brew and all delivered with real convenience.”
ALDI have also launched a Home Baking category up to 20 baking essentials to choose from, along with Morrisons who have expanded their baking category on Deliveroo with up to 16 different baking essentials. Health food favourites Holland & Barrett are also involved in the campaign, adding a new baking category on the Deliveroo app from today.
