On Thursday, November 14, 230 children and their families partied along with Water Babies owner, Tamsin Brewis, and her team of swimming teachers at 360 Play in Milton Keynes.

The celebration featured Aaron Williams, children’s entertainer extraordinaire, snacks, refreshments and a three-tiered 15th birthday cake.

Kim said: "We recently moved to the area, so only started swimming with Water Babies in August. Since then, we’ve made some lifelong friends and absolutely love swimming with our lovely teacher, Claire.

"Thea was so excited about the party that I booked the afternoon off work – I couldn’t bear the thought of her missing out.

"I was also looking forward to it, as I’d won a competition set by Water Babies to design the birthday cake, which was incredible.

Kim added: "The party certainly didn’t disappoint, it was wonderful. We definitely made the right decision by joining the Water Babies family and will be taking baby number two to lessons when they arrive in February.”

Tamsin first launched Water Babies Bucks and Beds back in November 2004, after struggling to find baby swimming lessons for her own children.

“I started the business with a goal of bringing water safety skills to children in my area. Little was I to know that these children and their families would make such an impact on my life too.

“Running my swimming school is the most rewarding job in the world and I feel so lucky to have met so many wonderful families. I hope everyone had an amazing time at the party, I know I did.

"My teachers swim at pools in Banbury, Wendover and Bedford and many more in between, so bringing everyone together was so special.

"Thank you to the little ones, parents and families who came along to help us celebrate this momentous occasion,” said Tamsin.

Since launching Tamsin and her team have taught 7,000 new-borns, toddlers and pre-schoolers to swim.
