Liz brings a wealth of retail experience to this role, having worked for Debenhams for almost two decades, since graduating from The University of Nottingham.

She has considerable experience in multi-sector retailing across a wide range of retail markets from Witney to Birmingham City Centre and most recently as Store Manager of Debenhams at Castle Quay.

Liz will be responsible for retail liaison, centre administration and accounts. She will also have a key role in the marketing of the centre and the upcoming launch of Castle Quay Waterfront, with Premier Inn and Lidl opening later this Summer.

Supporting the centre’s retailers to deliver sales growth will be key, as well as helping to enhance the vibrancy and vitality of Castle Quay through a mixture of strategic and tactical activity – which is much needed after a very challenging year for the retail industry.

Liz Swift, retail liaison manager at Castle Quay, said: “I am very fortunate to be joining the team at this point in the Castle Quay journey, with so many exciting developments ahead. As a local resident I am passionate about Banbury town centre and looking forward to welcoming customers to re-discover an enhanced customer experience very soon.”

Oliver Wren, centre director at Castle Quay said: “I have worked with Liz for a number of years during her time at Debenhams and I know she is exactly what we’re looking for at Castle Quay.

"I have no doubt that she will spark real change within the team. She can talk our retailers’ language and knows what works for them in terms of marketing and onsite support. She is full of passion and excitement for the centre’s redevelopment, and I can’t wait to see her grow in this role.”
