Evie Mortimer established her online women’s clothing store, Dot & Bill, at the beginning of the year and set her launch date for September, before knowing that a pandemic would hit us all.

But she stayed optimistic throughout the year and went ahead with the launch.

Set up from her home, Evie runs the small business by herself. She said: ‘You know you’re in the right job if your work doesn’t feel like work.

"I love working from home and it keeps my costs down whilst in these early stages. Not to mention how much easier it makes balancing work life and mum life!"

Evie has two small boys who are often around whilst she is packing orders.

In 2021, she is hoping to be able to host some pop up events in and around the area to give people the opportunity to see the clothes.

"I hope I can get out there to meet some of my customers in person," said Evie.
