Encase based in Banbury part of the VPK Group, in conjunction with the Department for Health & Social Care, is continuing to reassure its employees during the pandemic by offering voluntary lateral flow tests at all its UK production sites.

The campaign follows a recent in-house Health and Wellbeing survey which revealed that staff felt the business has done a ‘great job in keeping them safe at work’ during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Sonia Card, HR director UK & Ireland, said: “The care and safety of our employees are central to our values, and we are constantly looking to do the right thing by our people.

“The feedback from our Health and Wellbeing survey has been extremely encouraging and demonstrated how, as a good employer in our local communities, we have looked after every single member of the team during what has been a very challenging year.

“Offering lateral flow tests to our staff is the next step for us in ensuring continued safety during the pandemic and an important part in supporting the whole team.”

The business is continuing to invest across all its sites and is currently recruiting a number of roles as it builds its team to meet the demand for corrugated packaging from leading customers across the UK.

Sonia added: “Thanks to the growing demand for our sustainable packaging we are continuing investment and expansion across our business and are looking for people to join the VPK family.

“Our website and social media have all the latest opportunities and we welcome people to visit and to find out more about our business and hopefully join us to be part of something special.”
