Banbury BID giving out re-opening packs to member businesses

Officials with the Banbury Business Improvement District (BID) have prepared re-opening packs for its member businesses.

A spokesperson for Banbury BID said: "As you start to make plans for reopening your business, the BID would like to offer a helping hand.

"The BID have organised a reopening starter kit for your business.

"This contains a variety of items eg social distancing floor stickers, posters and hand sanitiser."

Banbury BID members can pick up their re-opening packs today (Thursday June 11) and tomorrow (Friday June 12) at the Castle Quay Shopping Centre.

A designated collection point has been set up in Castle Quay at unit 28c the former Sofa Shop, close to The Entertainer store.

People can pick up their re-opening packs from 10.30 am to 2.30pm.

They will be operating a one in and one out system, and people are encouraged to queue safely outside the unit, observing the 2m guidance.

Members businesses will also be asked to confirm their business name upon arrival.

If businesses are unable to collect their pack they can contact Banbury BID directly, and they will make arrangements to deliver re-opening pack.

Officials with the Banbury Business Improvement District (BID) have been working in partnership with Cherwell District and Banbury Town councils on a plan for a successful reopening of shops and businesses across the Banbury area this month.

The government has set out plans for retail businesses such as shops selling clothes, shoes, toys, furniture, books, and electronics, plus tailors, auction houses, photography studios, and indoor markets to be able to reopen from Monday June 15.

In addition to the re-opening packs Banbury BID also has a list of BID preferred suppliers for businesses to order any additional products they might need for re-opening their business.
