Luca, who joined Redrow Homes South Midlands as an apprentice bricklayer after doing a number of labourer jobs and studying bricklaying at college, has always worked at Bloxham Vale.

He said: “I am so pleased to have been selected as the region’s best apprentice and I’m delighted my hard work has been recognised.

“I love working outdoors, and I’d heard nothing but good things about Redrow before I joined, so Bloxham Vale was the best place to kickstart my career in the housebuilding industry.

“I’d recommend anyone thinking of doing an apprenticeship to go for it, as it’s a great way of learning new skills while building a career.”
