Apprentice at Banbury-based company appears on TV to speak about the importance of supporting training for young people
An apprentice from a Banbury-based company has appeared on Channel 4 News to speak about the importance of supporting training for young people.
Norbar Torque Tools was asked to take part in pre-recorded interviews which later aired on the news programme.

Hide AdAnd Simeon Baker, a CNC setter at Norbar Torque was interviewed for the programme, as was director Neill Brodey.
Simeon said: “Apprenticeships are a hugely important part of giving thousands of young people a chance at a good, stable career.
"Norbar have given me a great start to my working life, including support for me during my degree course.”
A scheme aimed at encouraging businesses to train up more 18 to 24-year-olds across all industries, Kickstart, has been launched to try to alleviate the economic damage that some fear will more negatively impact younger generations.

Hide AdNeill said: “It was a great honour to host Channel 4 News and for our apprentices to be given such a high-profile platform to talk about their experiences.
"As I said in the programme, apprentices are our lifeblood and we will continue to invest in bringing young people into the workforce and giving them a good grounding as they begin their working lives.”
