Aldi is planning to build a new food store in Southam.
The 1,315 sq.m net foodstore would be on land adjacent to Galanos House, off the A423, with parking.
A spokesperson for Aldi said: "The proposal would introduce a brand-new discount store to Southam reducing the need for customers to travel to other stores, such as Leamington Spa, to complete their grocery shopping.
"The proposals are at an early stage and no planning application has been submitted to Stratford-on-Avon District Council at this stage.
