HelloFresh, a leading meal kit company, is looking to hire temporary staff on three-month contracts at its distribution centre on Chalker Way, Banbury.

The company, which delivers fresh, pre-portioned ingredients for customers to cook from scratch at home, is experiencing strong growth in its business.

A spokesman said: "The 400 fixed term roles for three months are on offer for members of the local community who want the opportunity to work picking and packing recipes orders and preparing deliveries for customers around the country."

New joiners will receive a competitive wage on a weekly basis. There will be free parking, hot drinks and a weekly free lunch available to staff onsite, the spokesman said.

HelloFresh will host registration sessions for those interested at its Banbury facility every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-2pm starting on March 24. Arrangements are in place to ensure all applicants will be able to follow the necessary public health measures while visiting the facility.

The meal kit company, which has operated at Banbury since 2016, aims to hire members of the community whose normal employment might have been impacted due to temporary business closures because of the Covid-19 crisis.

Approximately 800 people work at the HelloFresh facility in Banbury, either directly or through its agency partner. There is a plan to hire additional permanent staff members in the coming months.
