The Orchestra’s programme for the night features Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and music from Leonard Berstein’s West Side Story.

They will be joined on stage by performers from Banbury- based dance company Anjali, a charity which develops the creative abilities of people with learning disabilities.

The performance by the orchestra will also feature the world premiere of a new work by Brackley-based composer Nick Planas, entitled The Symphony of Dances.

“The money raised will help the local branch of the country’s number one heart charity enormously. I hope that St Mary’s is packed for what will be a fantastic evening of entertainment.”

Leader of Banbury Town Council, Kieron Mallon, also voiced his enthusiasm, adding: “We are pleased to support this annual charity fundraising event.
