Captive is a highly energetic piece performed by four dancers inside a large cage, blending dance and aerial work.

Underground is a thought-provoking piece performed by four of Motionhouse’s dancers within a rocking tubular structure, designed to explore the reality of train travel – the compressed intimacy of a crowded carriage, the crush of personal space, the studied ignoring of our fellow travellers and the light fear of a dangerous stranger.

The Season of Dance at The Mill has been funded by Arts Council England.

The event starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £13.50. Call 279002 or visit www.themillartscentre.co.uk to book or for more details.
