A popular rhythm and blues band will be bringing their latest tour to The Mill Arts |Centre in Banbury.
Nine Below Zero, who have developed a cult following, visit the area on Friday September 30 and are supporting their new album 13 Shades of Blue.
The line-up consists of Dennis Greaves on guitar and vocals, Mark Feltham on harmonica, Mickey Burkey on drums and Ben Willis on bass.
The band also has as well as additional horn section, keyboards, violin and backing vocalists.
It has been a good year for the band who made an impressive live debut on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury earlier this year.
Since their genesis in the 1970s, Nine Below Zero have been known for providing unique and innovative music in the form of alt blues-rock, a breath of fresh air in a pop punk era. Speaking about the tour, front-man Dennis Greaves said: “To be back on tour with all the guys is incredible, the energy, enthusiasm and the magic are back.”
The concert starts at 8pm and tickets cost £18. They can be booked by calling the box office on 01295 279002 or by visiting www.themillartscentre.co.uk.
