A night of music by youngsters will raise funds to help their peers.

The event has been organised jointly by Sarah Lilley and Banbury Young Homelessness Project (BYHP) and is to raise awareness and funds for the project.

The gig will feature short sets from talented young performers Lindsey-May Cooper, Katy Jackson, Deslynn Smith, Isaac Stuart, Erin Tiger Lilley, Charlie Leavy and Jake Melles and will take place at Banbury Town Hall on Friday September 16.

Sarah said: “I am aware that the charity needs a lot of funding to continue the work it does in our community so I decided to do something small to help.

“Both my children are aspiring young musicians so it seemed a great idea to get other local talented youngsters together and put on a gig at the town hall with all the proceeds going to BYHP.”

Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door and can be purchased from Naomi’s Cafe Bar on Bridge Street, Sarah Lilley on 07866 264642 or BYHP 01295 259442.
