An award-winning photographer is displaying his work at The Theatre, Chipping Norton.
John Rux-Burton lives near Chipping Norton and his exhibition, which looks at the link between landscape and poetry, is on display at The Theatre until May 8.
Landscape has always been at the heart of English poetry and Mr Rux-Burton’s display couples stunning images of the places around the world that inspired this literary heritage, displayed alongside well-known poems.
Theatre press representative Tei Williams said: “This show is more than an exhibition of photographs, it’s a provoking show which will appeal to all sorts of people and will result in a lot of debate.
“John’s photographs are not only inspiring but often moving and certainly quite beautiful. Through his lens he brings a little bit of the world into Chippy.”
The photo to the right is of the River Wye in the Forest of Dean. Mr Rux-Burton will also give a talk on Saturday.
