A CANNABIS factory in Banbury was raided by police late last night(Wednesday) following a tip-off.
Inside the Meadow View property there were three rooms of the plants approximately worth between £3,000 and £5,000.

This was excluding four bin bags of harvested crops ready to be shifted.

No-one was present at the property when police swooped.

The dilapidated property showed recent signs of habitation with police saying it had been lived in until yesterday.

Prior to the examinations, the electricity had been turned off for safety reasons.

Forensic examinations of the property are now complete.

No arrests have yet been made and police added the plants would be destroyed.

People in the area are asked to contact the police should they have seen anything suspicious.
