Keith Buckle with Martyn Cooper and John Duncan won 21-11 while Colin Taylor with John Herrington and Richard Cox won 23-16.

Ricky Marsden with Pat Noonan and Dave Ward won 28-10 but Alan Wase with Richard Morris and Brian Ray lost 17-2 while Stuart Marsden with Ted Smith and Eric Hilton went down 8-25.

Banbury Borough maintained their 100 per cent Saturday record with a 126-88 against Wolvey.

John Jones, Dave McClymont, Bob Colbourne and Robert Sharpe won 26-10 while Dave Varney, Danny Jordan, Mick Morris and Brian Miller won 25-17.

Pat Reilly, Graham Tilley, Jock McGeough and John Brooks won 21-14 while Jim Wood, Pat Allen, Clive Hopkins and Bill Price won 20-14.

Dave Tilley, Don Holloway, Roger Bryan and Bernard Hole won 17-15 but Gerald Fountain, Iain Mobbs, Tony Brown and Dave Gardner lost 17-18.

Bloxham’s first match at Charlbury on Sunday ended in a disappointing 83-47 defeat.

Tony Gardner, Doug Woodward and Linda Morse lost 19-20 while Ron Higgins with John Elstob and Norman Hambidge lost 11-17.

Norma Gardner with Rob Kearvell and Alan Miles went down 8–26 while Dave Morse with Sue Miles and Simon Wratten lost 9-20.

Adderbury lost for the first time when going down 77-72 at Bicester in a four-rink encounter.

Tom Clark with Peter Briggs, Paul Jelfs and John Radley were top scorers winning 21-15 while Mick Jelfs with Ian Dunn, Bill Dowling and Graham Tyrrell won a tight match 18-17.
