Wheldon and Tilley enjoy success at Donington

There was more success for the Banbury based RAW Motorsports team at Donington Park with Grahame Tilley taking his first class win for the team in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup.

Team boss Rob Wheldon is still working on get the ultimate set up for himself and Tilley in their first year with the British Touring Car support series.

Wheldon was eighth in the first race, while having chased hard in third for most of the race, Tilley saw his rivals collide on the last lap, allowing him the snatch the victory,

In the second race Wheldon just missed out on a top six finish, having alternated with Gaffney a number of times. He finally lost out to his rival into McLeans corner with two laps to go, but took the flag eighth, part of a four car train for sixth place, covered by 0.79 seconds.

Tilley had missed out at the start and after a few exchanges for third place, he just missed out on another podium finish.

Both drivers finished on a high however with Wheldon making the most of his rivals falling over each other to come home fifth.
