Brooker said: We know we can compete with our mid-table finish last season and we have now shown our potential against the leaders.
“We have four games left to save our place at the top level and that performance put a smile on everyone’s face, showing what we are capable of. I just hope it has not come too late.
“We are in a straight fight for survival with Henley and Horsham but we know what we have to do between now and the beginning of April. It starts with the Havant game which we can now look forward to with renewed confidence.
“This is our second season at the highest level below national league status following promotion in 2015 and we are keen to compete at this level for the good of our players, the club and for the town.
“With the club also becoming national mixed champions last year it’s important to keep the profile of the sport at the highest level in Banbury by retaining our status.”
