Brackley Town boss Kevin Wilkin will be hoping Steve Diggin can rediscover his goalscoring form in the final four games of the Vanarama National League North campaign.

Top scorer Diggin has yet to make a start since his return from injury but Wilkin will be looking for him to pop up with an important goal or two before the end of the season.

Diggin was due to have a run-out for Brackley Town Saints in Monday’s UHLSport Hellenic League clash with Oxford City Nomads but the pitch was waterlogged at St James Park. Courtney Cameron is a doubt for Saturday’s game.

Wilkin added: “Steve [Diggin] looked a bit rusty when he came on at Gloucester but he’s missed lot of games.

“Lee Ndlovu and David Moyo have been well recently but I’m sure Steve will be in the reckoning for Saturday.”
