United pick up another point

Banbury United extended their unbeaten run by picking up a point at Frome Town in Saturday’s Evo-Stik League Southern clash.

Frome proved to be a tough nut to crack and looked happy to settle for a point against Edwin Stein’s side from the outset.

United looked solid at the back and they never looked under threat. It was also Warren Carter’s third clean sheet since joining the club.

United had a late penalty appeal waved away when Kynan Isaac was sent tumbling in the box and in the closing stages substitute Nabil Shariff and Adeyinka Talabi both went close.
