Saints hold the leaders

Brackley Town put the brakes on runaway leaders Chester by picking up a point at the Exacta Stadium.

Saints came away from Chester with a 0-0 draw in front of nearly 2,700 fans to maintain their four match unbeaten run in Blue Square Bet North ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Gloucester City at St James Park.

A makeshift Saints missing the injured Owen Story, Tom Winters, Glenn Walker and Eddie Odhihambo, put up a sterling defensive display to thwart Chester.
