Barnes-Homer off the mark to earn Saints three points
The three points lifts Saints to tenth in the table ahead of Saturday’s game at St James Park against AFC Telford United.
The game at Bromsgrove Sporting’s ground was anything but a classic. But Saints got back to winning ways, having suffered successive solitary goal defeats and the three points keeps them on course for a top ten finish.

And it was Ndlovu who got on the score-sheet after only 90 seconds to give his side an early lead against a City side seeking a first league win since November. Alex Gudger rose to flick on Ellis Myles’ cross and Ndlovu’s header looped beyond keeper Nathan Vaughan who remained rooted to the spot.
But City were back on level terms in the 20th minute when Saints captain Gareth Dean fouled former Saints midfielder Ebby Nelson-Addy in the box. Long-serving City skipper Tyler Weir squeezed the ensuing spot-kick past Laurie Walker.
Moyo brought a fine save from Vaughan low at his near post as Saints sought to restore their lead before the break.
