Banbury United boss Mike Ford has hinted that, by making his side harder to beat, they could be missing out on three points.

The Puritans extended their unbeaten Evo-Stik Southern League run to four games with Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Biggleswade Town at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium.

I’m not sure if, by making us harder to beat I’ve made it harder for us to win games

But Ford felt it was two points dropped and will be hoping to get to winning ways in tonight’s (Monday) premier division trip to Cambridge City.

Ford said: “We’re proving to be a difficult side to beat and I don’t think we’ve picked up the points we’ve deserved in recent games. I’m not sure if, by making us harder to beat I’ve made it harder for us to win games.

“I’ve got some hugely talented players on the bench but I’ve got to make sure we don’t stop being hard to beat.”
