TWO players from Easington Sports Reserves had their jaws broken in Saturday’s UHLSport Hellenic League fixture at Slough Town Reserves.

Lloyd Sabin was detained in the local hospital on Saturday night before being transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital, where he underwent surgery on Monday night to repair a double fracture. Team-mate Niall Higgins will also be operated on today (Tuesday) at the John Radcliffe.

Several players were sent off in the Division Two West clash at Slough’s ground, where police were called to deal with the incident, and the league held a meeting to discuss the matter last night (Monday).
