Hide AdRyan has recently left his role as business manager with the Oxon Cricket Board to become the ECB’s head of the south central region.
Sabin said: “Luke has been top drawer, on and off the field. He will be a big miss, not only for the first team but for the club in general.
“Of course, I’m disappointed he’s leaving but we respect his decision because of what he has done for this club.
“It will be impossible to replace a player like Luke but it will give a young player the opportunity to show what they can do.
“Someone will fill his boots eventually but they are big boots to fill. Luke was also a great help to me in my first season as captain this year.”
