NICKY Gordon grabbed both goals as Banbury United ended the season on a winning note.
United came from behind to beat Swindon Supermarine 2-1 in Saturday's final BGB Southern League Premier Divison fixture at Spencer Stadium with Gordon taking his tally to 21 goals for the season.

But United had an early setback when Ady Fuller headed past the stranded Joe Murrell to gift Swindon an early lead. Substitute Stuart Bridges should have equalised when he broke through but shot wide.

Gordon levelled immediately after the restart when he caught the Swindon defence cold and he grabbed the winner midway through the second half after good build-up play from Lewis Travers.

Brackley Town ended their campaign with a 0-0 draw at Clevedon Town, a result which helped United claim ninth place in the table.

In the Division One Midlands clash at Byfield Road, Woodford United went down 4-0 against Willenhall Town.

In the Sport Italia Hellenic League, Hook Norton won 3-1 at Ardley United while Easington Sports lost 1-0 at Clanfield in Division One West.
