SECOND half goals from Nicky Gordon and Ady Fuller earned Banbury United an excellent 2-0 victory at Tiverton Town on Saturday.
United bounced back from their midweek Oxon Senior Cup final defeat to earn three more BGB Southern League Premier Division points thanks to Gordon's 78th minute opener and Fuller's stoppage-time penalty.

But Brackley Town could only manage a 1-1 draw with Rugby Town at St James Park. Jamie Patterson gave Town the lead on the stroke of halftime but Rugby equalised immediately after the restart through Tom Breward.

In Division One Midlands, Woodford United were thumped 7-0 at Evesham United.

In the Sport Italia Hellenic League Premier Division, Hook Norton won 3-0 at Abingdon Town, while Easington Sports returned from Malmesbury Victoria with a 4-1 success in Division One West.
