Tomlin hits late winner to sink Town

LEE Tomlin hit the late winner as Brackley Town lost 2-1 against Rushden & Diamonds in ther NFA Hillier Senior Cup final.
Town took the lead early in the second half at Nene Park when a Tom Winters' inswinging corner was palmed into his own net by keeper Martyn Margarson.

But the Conference side drew level on the hour when Michael Rankine was upended in the box and Curtis Woodhouse scored from the spot.

With extra-time looming Tomlin, who had a loan spell at St James Park earlier in the season, grabbed the 89th minute winner.
