Sullivan expecting a tough test from Oxford
BANBURY United boss Kieran Sullivan is expecting a tough test tonight (Tuesday) when Oxford United visit Spencer Stadium.
United kick-off their pre-season friendlies against their Conference neighbours who suffered a 2-1 defeat at Brackley Town on Saturday. Boss Darren Patterson has promised to play a strong side for most of the game so Sullivan knows his side will up against it.
"With all that's gone in during the close season, I'm looking forward to getting back on the pitch," said Sullivan.
"I know Oxford will be putting out a strong side but we had a practice match at the weekend in preparation. And we might have one or two new faces in the side tonight who I want to have a look at."
The game is a 7.45pm kick-off at Spencer Stadium.
