BANBURY United boss Kieran Sullivan was left disappointed by his side's defending in the 3-3 draw at Hitchin.
"We conceded two more poor goals and defended badly as a unit," said Sullivan.

"Our goals against column was looking healthy until the last three games and now we've leaked nine in those games. When we went in 3-2 up I thought we'd go on to win the game well in the second half but we don't seem to be able to put together two good halves in the same game."

"For whatever reason we handed the initiative back to them and it could have been worse had they taken their chances in the second half."

Meanwhile, Sullivan will field a side mostly made up of reserve team players for tonight's (Monday) Buckingham Senior Cup tie against Buckingham Town.

"We're down in numbers at the moment so I don't want to risk any more injuries with a tough league game and cup final coming up," added the United boss.

The game is a 7.45pm kick-off at Spencer Stadium.
