FOR the third Saturday running, all the main fixtures have been hit by the cold snap.
All three games in the Zamaretto League featuring local teams have been postponed.

In the premier division, Brackley Town's match with Hemel Hempstead Town is off because there is still snow on the St
James Park pitch, Banbury United's trip to Oxford City was called off on Friday and in Division One Midlands, Woodford United's match at Stourport Swifts is also off.

But the Puritans will be hoping Tuesday's clash with leaders Farnborough can go ahead as they have not played at Spencer Stadium since the end of November.

All games in the FTL Hellenic League have been postponed and, for the fourth time, the Oxon Senior Cup second round tie between Easington Sports and Adderbury Park is also off.

It's much the same story in other sports.

On the rugby front, Banbury Bulls' trip to Huntingdon in Midlands Two East South is off, as is Chipping Norton's match with Windsor at Greystones in Southern Counties North, but Brackley's trip to Bugbrooke in Midlands Three East South is on.

Even the astroturf pitches have failed to cope with the elements with Banbury's match against Oxford University in the South A Premier League at North Oxon Academy also postponed.
