IT WAS the day Brackley Town's FA Cup run came to an end at Eastwood Town, who booked a second round tie with Wycombe Wanderers.
Saints lost 2-1 at Eastwood and nearly 1,000 spectators packed into Coronation Park, among them about 200 travelling Brackley fans.

And they were soon cheering as Tom Winters gave Saints a first-half lead with a trademark finish that gave the visitors a 1-0 advantage at the interval.

But it all went wrong for Saints in the second half when Eastwood deservedly equalised through Simon Sturdy and Lindon Meikle won it with a deflected strike.

Mike Curtis of banburyphotographic.com captured all the action at Coronation Park. To see the slideshow click on the 'play' link.
