BANBURY Harriers did well in all categories in Sunday's Oxon Young Athletes League meeting at North Oxon Academy.
In the under-13 boys, Liam Grieveson sprinted to a great double in the 100m and 200m. This was matched in the B string races with brother

Nathan winning and then doubling up in the javelin with plenty to spare.
Alfie Rowett won the B 100m and finished a good second in the 75m hurdles. Other wins came from Ben Ayre and Aziz Olubaji in the shot and Ryan George in the B 1200m race. Banbury Harriers boys easily won the 4x100m relay.

In the boys under-15 age group good performances came from Tom Biegel in the 1500m, Edward Wilson in the javelin and Bert Rowett and Jack Marshall in the high jump. The 4x100m relay saw them lose on the line to Radley in a fast run race.

The under-17 boys produced two excellent runs from Daniel Brown in the 200m and 400m. James Allen also produced a good run in the 200m and also jumped well in the long jump. They also won the 4x100m relay.

The under-13 girls were also in fine form with Tory and Amy Mobley winning the A and B 800m races.

Megan Moran recorded two win in the javelin and discus and also ran a fast 1200m race to finish second. There were good performances from Calena Postalache, Shannon Parker, Samantha Phillips and Laura England in all their events.

In the under-15 age group Connie McMillan collected a good double in the 1500m and 300m. Hannah Cousins won in 12.4s in the 75m hurdles and Jenny Weston won the javelin.

Sarah Biegel's times in the 800m and 300m were impressive and in the latter she recorded the second fastest behind McMillan. Her sister Sophie gained a good win in the B 100m race.
