BANBURY skipper Benji Hector is looking forward to taking on rivals Oxford in Saturday's Home Counties Premier League showdown.
Banbury face back-to-back games against the two sides currently in second and third place, beginning with this week's eagerly-awaited fixture with Oxford.

Second-placed Oxford come to White Post Road to face an in-form Banbury side with skipper Be
nji Hector declaring: "If we win our last seven games it will be very difficult for anyone to stop us from winning the league.

"Our destiny is in our own hands, we've got seven games to go and we must maintain the form we've shown in the last two games. Our next two games will be defining ones against Oxford and Radlett.

"We let Oxford off the hook in the first game and we should have won it. But they are a solid side and if their top order fail, they have players who can come in and chip in.

"These are always tense games with Oxford, they won't want to give anything away, but we need to focus on our own game and let the scoreboard do the talking.

"We've got a great opportunity to leapfrog Oxford and Radlett if we win our next two games. We've got what I think is our strongest side available and the most balanced one as well."

Banbury will have plenty of batting strength in depth for Saturday's division one clash. Nathan Hawkes will come in at five, with Jamie Noble at six, Luke Ryan at seven and Ian Hawtin at eight.
