First half goals from strikers Mark Rawle and Ben Mackey secured a third successive Zamaretto League victory for Brackley Town in a 2-0 victory against struggling Hemel Hempstead Town.
Following Saturday's fine 3-0 win at Clevedon Town, Saints started brightly, dominating possession and pinning the visitors in their own half.

The key moments came on 23 minutes when Rawle stabbed home the opening goal after a goalmouth mêlée and just eight minutes later as Winters and Mackey combined superbly on the edge of the penalty area to set up Mackey, who smashed the ball past Hemel keeper Will Viner.

Hemel rarely threatened and in a one-sided second half Saints could have added to the score as numerous chances were created from the midfield running of Winters and Owen Story. Only excellent goalkeeping from Viner kept the Saints at bay.

Fielding an unchanged side for the third game running Town were too strong across the pitch for a poor Hemel side, yet to record an away win.

For the home side, young keeper Walker performed well when called upon and the defensive line-up was strong and quick with Simon Travis at right back proving again an excellent acquisition.
